Tignes

The ski area of Tignes, linked to that of Val d’Isère, extends at the height of the season over 300 kms of runs, from its highest point (Grande Motte glacier – 3456m) to its lowest point (Brévières village – 1550m). In Tignes, fans vibrate in unison with the world’s greatest athletes during major sporting events. Amateur athletes, on the other hand, are happy to challenge each other on skis or trainers, but always with a smile. In winter, adrenaline junkies head for ice diving, the Bun J Ride or the 3 km long “Palafou” toboggan run, while lovers of wide open spaces discover Tignes from the sky by paragliding or microlight, while the youngest ones enjoy a dog sled ride or a snowtubing descent.
